Calling all piano-playing songwriters! Casio Sessions competition launches with £2,249 digital piano prize and live finale in London this September

Casio Music UK, the renowned producer of electronic keyboards and digital pianos, has exciting news for aspiring piano-playing songwriters. In partnership with Loop Music, they have launched Casio Sessions – a brand new singer-songwriter competition. With the final set to take place on 21 September at Casio’s iconic G-SHOCK store in Carnaby Street, London, the competition offers entrants the chance to showcase their skills and win fantastic prizes.

The lucky winner will take home Casio’s award-winning PX-S7000 Digital Piano, a cutting-edge instrument worth £2,249, in the stunning Harmonious Mustard finish, as well as £500 in cash.

To participate, singer-songwriters who play the piano can submit an original composition through an online video audition. Covers won’t be considered, as the focus is on originality and creativity. A panel of esteemed judges, including Neil Evans and Dan Henry from Casio Music UK, as well as Mohamed A Sawyer and Emmanuel Tchombe from Loop Music, will select 12 finalists who will compete in the live final.

The judging criteria will include stage performance and presence, making it a well-rounded evaluation of each musician’s skills. All 12 finalists will receive professional photography and videography of their performances from the Casio Sessions event.
